Cyber Crime

Cyber-security experts around the world have started from yesterday to launch hacked computer-to-computer communications system. They are trying to identify criminals involved in this huge cyber attack. France's automotive manufacturers, from Russia's bank to British medical system, are all affected by this attack.

Because the computer communication system is inaccessible, many public and non-governmental organizations in the world are stopping. Organizations can not access the important database or files stored on their computers. The hackers are demanding money by threatening to wipe them out completely. This kind of attack is perhaps the biggest in the world of computer communications to demand 'ransom'. The unidentified hacker team launched an unprecedented attack on Friday. It is being speculated that they used the information technology used to steal the US National Intelligence Agency from the NSA.

European police agency Europol said that there is an unprecedented level of cyber attack and international investigations need to be taken to catch the perpetrators.
Miko Hyponen, chief research officer of Finland-based Helsinki based cyber security firm F-Secure, said it is the largest cyber attack in history. Hundreds of 150,000 people have been interrupted in the communication system of more than 100 countries. Hyponeen said that the level of attacks in Russia and India is relatively high. Because these two countries have more use of older Windows XP operating system-based computers.
French automotive maker Reno France and Slovenia have been forced to stop production in their factories. They said they took such steps to prevent the spread of the virus. The US courier firm FedEx also acknowledged the cyber attacks on them for money.
Russia's Interior Ministry said thousands of computers had 'virus attacks' on them. The process of destroying them is going on. The country's central bank and railway divisions are also affected.

Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Norway etc. have also reported the cyber attack. Although there was no official announcement of such attack in China, it was reported through social networking online. Cyber-security company Avast said hackers are seeking 'ransom' in different places. The news of 75 thousand such cases matched. The United Kingdom Health Service, NHS, has called them a "ransomware program" called Wanakra, equivalent to the amount of 300 US dollars. Hackers will vouch for the payment of the virtual currency (bitcane) to each computer, and the files will be freed. The biggest cyber attack has been on the NHS. There has been a disruption in the activities of about 40 organizations under this national organization. In many cases, the default surgery and the doctor's meeting with the patient had to be canceled.
